The Market Overton Neighbourhood Watch Scheme brings neighbours together to create a strong, friendly and active community where crime and anti social behaviour is less likely to happen. It is supported by and works closely with the local police but remains independent of them.
We are all lucky that we live in Rutland, it is one of the safest places to live in the country. However, there is no rule that says it will always remain so.
The village coordinator is Jane Robins, Vice Chair of the Parish Council who believes that Market Overton has a strong community that will benefit from having volunteers who will spend a small amount of time keeping their eyes and ears out for any signs of dishonest activity within the village.
