Market Overton Cricket Club is set in wonderful, child-friendly surroundings at the Thistleton end of the village, behind the Doctor’s Surgery.

The club has multiple playing sides, two in the Leicestershire League (Saturdays), one in the Grantham & Melton League (Sundays), two women’s hardball teams & one softball team (new for 2021).
We also have five junior teams U9,U11,U13,U15,U19 as well as All Stars Cricket (5-8 years) & Dynamos Cricket (8-11 years)
The licensed bar is open from 6pm Friday, all day Saturday & Sunday during the cricket season (April – Sept)
Families with children are always welcome.

The cricket club hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year, such as Race Nights, Prize Bingo, Quiz Nights and Coffee Mornings.
The Clubhouse is available for private hire for adult’s & children’s parties at a very reasonable rate. There is a licenced bar & a disco is available upon request
